Raining Hope, Incorporated exists to raise and distribute funds in order to provide food, clothing, shelter, healthcare and education for children & families in need in Uganda and around the world.

We desire for the children to be raised in a Christian family environment. At Living Hope Children’s Home in Uganda they are shown the love of God on a continual basis, taught how to interact in a family atmosphere, and taught the foundational values of a life long relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ.

About twelve years ago, a woman from America felt the Lord calling her to Uganda to help the many orphaned and suffering children. After about a year, she started an orphanage with a native Ugandan man, who she thought was good and trustworthy. This turned out to not be true.

A team from a local church in Ojai, California traveled to Uganda in 2005 & January 2007. On the first trip they heard about the plight of the children. On the team’s second trip, some of the children had run away from the orphanage. They reported harsh conditions & mistreatment. Upon returning home to the United States, God placed it on the heart of one of the team members to do something about it. We began to support the children who had escaped. In 2007, Living Home Children’s Home was established in Uganda. The rescued children, and many more who needed to be cared for and shown His love, now have a home. God had placed a desire in our hearts to reach these children for Him.

Psalms Ten Incorporated was formed to address all issues concerning the well-being of these children.

We currently take care of 76 children at Living Hope Children’s Home, which include all of our children who were rescued from the other orphanage.

We currently are expanding our ministry to include ministry opportunities here in the United States. With this time of transition, we are experiencing a renewed vision & enthusiasm for our work in Uganda! With the re-launching of our ministry comes a new name…

“Raining Hope!”

Because there is no free education in Uganda, Raining Hope wants to provide children with the opportunity to attend school. These are bright, young children. They all have the desire to further their education. The only thing they lack are the resources needed for that education. This will give them a hope for the future to be able to provide sustainable income for themselves & their families.

Raining Hope desires to raise awareness of what God is doing in Uganda in the lives of the children. We want to raise up intercessors who will be committed to pray for this ministry. We desire to build a team to share our vision & financially support the various projects of Raining Hope.
