Designated Areas of Need

Here are the answers to the questions most asked.

1. Last year you were moving into a new home.
a. Question: Where is the new home?
Answer: We are in the town of Bukaya. We have been in the new home close to 1 year!

b. Question: Are you renting this property? Answer: Yes. Until we can build our new home, we will continue to lease.

c. Question: How much does it cost to lease the new home?
Answer:We pay $400 a month for the building we currently are in. We currently are in need of paying for the next 6 months ($2,400).

d. Question: How many children do you care for in the home?
Answer: We currently have 26 children and youth. We have 3 staff members and their families who manage the home.

2. Last year we were able to purchase 4 acres of land! Our land is on the banks of Lake Victoria. Our vision is to build a permanent Children's Home, school, church & guest house. We would also like to use the land to grow food which would help us with our food supply needs.

Question: When will you start building?
Answer: We will begin a building campaign soon to raise the necessary funds. Right now we are in prayer on how to proceed. We are asking for wisdom & discernment.

3. There is an opportunity to purchase 2 more acres next door to our already purchased land.

a. Question: How much is needed for that additional land?
Answer: We are being given the opportunity of purchasing it for $5,000.

Last year, we claimed The Promised Land. We left Egypt. No turning back, no turning back. Our breakthrough came! The children love the new home! The blessings are pouring out!

Today I read a portion from the book, "The Source of My Strength" by Charles Stanley. He says this, "This is what happened to Moses and the children of Israel as they left Egypt. The children of Israel left without looking over their shoulders. They were given the gold and precious goods of Egypt by the former slave drivers. They had God's sign of provision and protection. … ' and the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.' (Exodus 14:13).

God will give the person a victory in a particular situation or circumstance or a series of victories. You can rest in the knowledge that God is with you. He is working in you and through you, and each time you experience a victory, you can know that God is causing your trust in Him to grow.

We have been experiencing a series of victories! With each step, we trust Him and grow ever closer to Him! The children thank you for your love and support!

38 They will be my people, and I will be their God. 39 And I will give them one heart and one purpose: to worship me forever, for their own good and for the good of all their descendants. 40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good for them.
