Meet Joanne
Hello sponsors,
Greetings from Raining Hope. My name is Joanne and I am 17 years old. I want to thank you for the support that you have given to us. I thank God for Raining Hope.
My life before joining Raining Hope was so challenging and full of struggles. Life was so tough on my side. I never thought of something like going to school.
I thank God because through Raining Hope I have come to know more about Him. I am achieving my dream through going to school and trusting God. I have learned a lot from Raining Hope.
My dream is to be a surgeon. According to me, my dream is becoming true through Raining Hope.
I want to thank you so much because you have always supported us right from the start. We pray for you everyday and we love you so much. It’s our prayer that the Lord may sustain you just like he sustained the children of Israel.
We love you so much. God bless you.

Meet Trust
Dear Sponsors and Mum Kisakye,
Trust is 3 years old. Her birthday is August 12, 2017.
We are watching her grow as a loving, friendly and jolly girl.
She's such an adorable girl who likes calling everyone by their names.
Her favorite colors are purple and blue. She likes matoke (bananas) and ground nuts. Her hobbies are singing and
dancing.
She mimics almost everyone at home if she hears them sing. Watching her do these things brings so much joy to the family.
Trust loves everything about Raining Hope. So she therefore wants to wish you a happy 10th Anniversary!
Much love from her and her parents!

Dear Great Men & Women of God:
I great you in Jesus name our Lord. I am Jonathan and professionally, Dr. Jonathan! I appreciate all the good things and great work God is doing in you for us to be blessed.
I pray that God will bless you unstoppable.
I am 24 years old. God has done a lot of things in me. Looking back in time, I didn’t have school fees and was often chased away from school. Lack of food was an issue. Most of the time I only ate once a day. I had
poor clothing as I would have to wear the same clothes for a week. I didn’t have exposure to other people and I didn’t know God. Since I joined Raining Hope Ministries, I know God deeply through what Mama Kisakye has
taught us and Uncle Godfrey.
We eat food in time for all meals; breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper. We are growing healthy and fat! (In Ugandan culture, “fat” means “healthy”) Wow! Life is great. In the Raining Hope family our fees are paid in time. Sometimes our fees are paid in advance even before we arrive at school. We are performing well in our classes. I am meeting many great men and women of God. Before going to school I was not exposed to different categories of people with more experience in my career.
My dream is becoming true. I am now a great doctor through Christ! Dr. Jonathan! Wow!
May God bless you every second, minute, hour, daily, weekly, monthly and throughout your
whole life. Raining Hope Forever! Long live Raining Hope!
I am proud to be a part and born into Raining Hope. I am living a happy and joy-filled life because of the Raining Hope family.
Yours truly,
Dr. Jonathan
Birthday: July 21, 1996

Jonathan completed his nursing school studies and began volunteering at a clinic in the Kampala area. He was in that area when the lock down hit. His dream is to establish his own clinic in Uganda.

Meet Hillary
Dear Raining Hope Sponsors:
Praise the Lord! I bring you Calvary greetings from the Raining Hope family. My name is Hillary and I am 24 years old. I recently graduated from Uganda Baptist Seminary in Jinja with a Diploma of Theology. All the glory and honor back to Jesus our Savior!
Allow me to express my gratitude in a special way by thanking all our sponsors who have been of great help while we are running this race and journey of salvation because without your contribution we would not have reached this far. Your faithful giving towards the Raining Hope family has always made sure that we go to good schools, have quality medications, good balanced diets, access to clean water, pay all house consumption bills to mention but a few. Our prayer to all of you is that extraordinary things continue to be
part of your portion as you serve Him, the King in the land of the living.
I joined Raining Hope in 2007 while my life was in despair. In the same year I accepted Jesus Christ to be my personal Lord and Savior. This came about after failing to live with my stepmother. She always mistreated me to a point of making me homeless. As a result of the torture, I was traumatized and found myself on the streets looking for survival.
Through Raining Hope I gained back my hopes that I had lost in life. I began to understand that I also have a purpose in the world. This is the way I realized my dream of becoming a teacher. With all of this, I got back on track and joined school again to work hard so that this dream would come true. While at school along the way, little did I know that God was calling me to be a teacher of His Word. This is the very reason why I joined a Theological School. The first day I stepped into my lecture room, I saw my dream come true.
Therefore, I thank Mama Kisakye in a special way for her commitment to the Raining Hope family. We have been able to have a second hope and purpose in life. All of you, our sponsors have given us that HOPE for a better future. Thank you and Happy 10th Anniversary!
Grace and Peace,
Hillary
